Seeing a cat-dog friendship isn’t the rarest thing in the world, but German Shepherd, Butta, and his feline friend, Bella, are basically siblings!
They constantly challenge each other, they play fight, and they interrupt each other during sleep time, but at the end of the day – there’s nothing but pure love between them.
One day, their friendship went onto a whole new level when Bella fell asleep in his doggo friend’s mouth!
Butta And Bella: The Dynamic Duo
Both Butta and Bella are fierce, energetic furballs that just enjoy challenging each other! She became family at only thirteen weeks of age, when her mom, Gabrielle, brought her from the adoption center.
It seems that she was a fighter from the start, as Bella had slightly wonky ears when she was first taken in.
“She’s truly a fighter… She’s now a silly girl who loves to run everywhere (especially with Butta), tummy rubs, walking across things she’s not supposed to, and playing with Butta (even picks on him sometimes),” wrote Gabrielle on her Instagram.
Given her fierce nature, she couldn’t have been more perfect for Butta! This energetic German Shepherd just loves playing with his feline sister so much, and he doesn’t mind being occasionally scratched at all!
It appears that two of the same energies match each other perfectly!
The Strangest Snuggle Ever
Their friendship got a whole new dimension one day on a road trip to Louisiana. Both Butta and Bella were exhausted and about to take their nap in the back of the car. But, when they finally fell asleep, Bella somehow snuggled her way into Butta’s mouth!
Gabrielle posted the video of their strange snuggle on Instagram, saying: “Long car rides be like… (when you’re hungry, but sleepy).”
The fact that she felt so comfortable falling asleep in Butta’s mouth showed how much Bella trusted her big GSD brother. And, as for Butta – he didn’t mind it at all!
In no time, the hilarious video of the dynamic duo went viral, causing thousands of reactions from people all over the world!
Best Buddies In The World
At the end of the day, Butta and Bella are nothing but the best of friends in the world! Despite their daily quirks, they still love to snuggle next to each other and simply enjoy each other’s company.
“It’s crazy how cool a cat and a dog can be,” says Gabrielle.
Even though they tease each other all the time, it doesn’t affect the beautiful relationship they have.
Baby Nathan Enjoys His Furry Guardians
Gabrielle’s son, Nathan, probably gets the most fun out of Butta and Bella! This baby boy is so lucky to have them in his life, as both the dog and the cat love him so much!
He loves to cuddle with Butta whenever possible. And, instead of watching TV, he spends time observing the fish tank with Bella.
It all started as an unexpected friendship between a cat and a dog, but now Gabrielle and her family can’t imagine their life without Bella and Butta!
