With all of these hot days that we are having, I can’t think of a better way to cool off than in a pool.
And, there is one particular golden gentleman who would totally agree with me.
Splish Splash
Meet Zeppole, a Golden Retriever who just loves a good pool day.
Zeppole and his mom made a trip down to the coast of New Jersey to visit her father. As much as Zeppole was excited to be there, the excitement grew even more when he saw what his grandpa had.
Well, technically, what his next-door neighbors had…
A giant and very tempting pool was decorating their yard, just asking to be jumped in. And, Zeppole sure did listen!
Jumping over the fence, he ran straight for the pool, cooling his paws off and looking as adorable as ever.

He just couldn’t help himself, and to be honest, I don’t even blame him.
But, what’s even funnier is that he didn’t want to get out!
His mom was trying very hard to get him out of the refreshing pool, even having to get in herself, but Zeppole simply didn’t want to leave.
Luckily, this pup was so cute that the owners of the pool forgave this slight, yet understandable trespassing.
“[The neighbors] love him, thankfully! But we’re working on the whole overstaying your welcome [thing],” responded his mom to one of the comments.
Nothing Is Going To Stop This Dog
Even after his mom explained to him the reason why he shouldn’t go to the neighbor’s pool, one of them being that he could get hurt, Zeppole didn’t really take her too seriously.
As soon as his mom was not around, he went in to take another dip.
This time, however, it was the neighbors who were filming the whole thing.
Zeppole, being a very smart dog, decided he was first going to distract the neighbors, showing them that he wasn’t there for the pool. Rather, he was there to admire their plants.
And, as soon as their guard was down, he took the opportunity and cannonballed right in there.

After showing off his incredible aqua aerobic skills to the entire coast of New Jersey, his mom was right back on his tail, telling him to get out.
Being the good boy that he was, Zeppole listened to his mom, but he wasn’t too happy about it.
However, that frown turned upside down very quickly since his mom took him on a nice pool day the very next day where he was able to swim as much as he wanted with no interruptions.
