A doggy daycare in Norfolk, Virginia has gone viral many times, and it’s not hard to know why – it’s because they are probably the greatest place in the Hampton Roads area, and across the country, too.
They took something as simple as calling the names of the dogs in their daycare and turned it into a wonderfully sweet compilation of videos that are going to melt your heart.

Describing themselves as a “social outlet for dogs”, Dogtown is a boarding and kennel-free doggy daycare offering high-quality care and unique social space for pups.
It was not the first time they posted a video of their incredibly cute pups, but with 8 million views, this surely was their most popular one.
A very simple idea of filming dogs’ reactions to their names being called turned out to be a viral hit.

Despite being in a place surrounded by dozens of other pups, each dog seemed to know their name very well, and was able to react quickly to being called.
As soon as they would hear their name in the distance, their little ears would perk up and their head would turn around, looking for the source of the sound.
With a huge smile on their face and a wagging tail, they come running and jumping.
It’s simply the most delightful thing ever.
Part 2 of this trend was even more successful, generating almost 20 million views.

Sam Woomer, the owner of Dogtown, told WTKR News 3: “You go to sleep and the next day I’d open up TikTok, and we had fifty thousand new followers. Honestly, I think people just love dogs. We’re very lucky that we have dogs to model for us and be in the videos.”
Woomer opened Dogtown almost 6 years ago out of necessity. He couldn’t find a place that was open early enough for his dog, so he decided to do it himself.
Since then, this doggy daycare in Virginia has grown a lot, having almost 100 dogs each day in their care.
“We love working with dogs. Dogtown is a second home for our dog customers. We aim for it to feel that way,” a spokesperson for Dogtown told The Dodo.
And, just when you think these dogs can’t get any cuter, Dogtown goes and posts a ‘part 3’ that, once again, melts your heart.
