It’s tragic when a man decides that he longer needs his dog. It’s even worse when the pup is dumped without any care and left to starve.
When some people decide that it’s too much trouble to help their pups who are sick, they will just abandon them.
This sick pup was left in such cruel conditions by his previous owner. It was apparent that he didn’t care about the puppy at all.
It took a kind stranger to notice that he was stuck inside a plastic bag and left to suffocate. He was appalled by what he witnessed, so he decided to help.
How Could Anyone Do This
When the man first spotted him, he was shocked to see a lot of people who were just watching the dog with complete indifference.
It’s like they didn’t even care that he was struggling to breathe in the bag. Nobody even bothered to help him.
But, he couldn’t sit back and do nothing. Immediately, he rushed her to a pet hospital and had the veterinarians check on her.
He looked at her and realized she was in so much pain. The veterinarians told him that the dog had contracted canine distemper.
This basically meant that she was going to struggle for the rest of her life. The vets suggested a treatment but also told the man that he could euthanize her so she wouldn’t have to suffer.
The kind man was outright opposed to this idea and decided to treat her. It was going to be costly, but he wasn’t willing to let her go.
He brought her back to his house and prepared a small place she could rest in. The puppy was only three months old, so caring for her was going to be difficult.
A Regular Treatment For The Puppy
The man took her to the clinic to get injections every day, and she started getting a little bit better. The dog’s appetite has grown, and her mood has improved as well.
Despite this, she feels very insecure when her new owner is not around. She starts getting scared a lot.
The pup also vomits a lot, which is causing her many problems. Her owner is trying to remedy the situation, but it will take time to see the results.
He took her to an examination at the clinic to see how she was doing. As they were waiting for results, the owner noticed that the dog started playing around with other people there.
The results pretty much just confirmed that her situation is a bit better, but she is still suffering from her disease, and it’s already in its late stage.
Depressing News For The Owner
Regardless, the man was determined to give his sweet pup a wonderful time for as long as he could. He has prepared himself mentally for the day when she might not be there.
Until then, he is continuing to try and make every day a good one for this adorable dog. He also introduced her to his son who loves playing with the puppy.
And he asked his sister, who is a veterinarian, to help with the treatment. She agreed and was doing her best every day.
She took the puppy in her home and is providing him with the best care. Further examinations revealed that her condition has worsened.
Her legs are going numb and it seems that she won’t make it. Her new family gathers around to be with her in the final moments.
They hoped that she was happy to have them at her side. When her strength gave out, the puppy had crossed the rainbow bridge.
Everyone was deeply saddened by this loss, but they realized that she is in a better place. She spent her last minutes surrounded by the people who loved her so much and that’s what matters the most.
