Woman Solves Mystery Why Her Dog’s Ears Are Always Wet

Admin

Our world has many mysteries that will probably never be solved. There’s the one about the Jeti, the notorious Area 51, the Loch Ness monster, the Bermuda Triangle…

And there’s one about why Cam’s dog, Lola, always has wet ears.

Yeah, you read that right: wet ears.

The San Diego-based dog mom of two, Lola and Rex, was really puzzled why that was happening to her Golden Retriever. Her thoughts wandered from thinking of the worst possible condition that causes the ears to be wet to the harmless ones.

The ears were driving her crazy, and Cam had to figure out what was behind it. That’s when she saw the real reason why Lola always had the wet look.

Life with Rex and Lola is sweet, and both pups can agree with that.

The little family from San Diego, Lola, Rex, and their human mom, Cam, share many happy moments together. Both Lola and Rex are adopted pets, and Cam made sure she gave them such a wonderful life.

Everything was… normal. Just as life should be.

Then, Lola started showing up with wet ears. What an odd part of her body to be wet, isn’t it?

At first, Cam didn’t pay attention to it, but Lola’s wet hair became a staple look. What on Earth was happening? Did she dip her ear in her water bowl? Nope, that doesn’t seem to explain this situation.

Was Lola accidentally turning the shower on? That couldn’t be it!

So, what’s up with Lola’s style?

Cam had quite an epiphany soon when she caught Rex doing something to Lola.

No, he didn’t push her head in the toilet bowl, which might explain the wet ears. Rex licked and chewed on Lola’s ears! He was the culprit behind the wet hair look Lola was showing off.

Cam caught it all on camera and posted it on TikTok where she scored a bunch of views. By the look of Lola’s face, we can’t tell if she’s enjoying it or silently begging mom to stop him.

The ear chewing is Rex’s way of showing love to Lola… absolutely not a sign that he wants to eat her.

Sometimes, dogs show love in the oddest ways. Rex’s love language is nibbling, which gets a bit extreme and leaves wet ears behind. On the other hand, Lola’s so patient and calm, and allows Rex to express himself.

Better to be licking ears than fighting, right?
