Emmy, a puppy born without arms, was just a little baby who needed someone to believe in her and give her a chance.
And yet, without the tiniest bit of empathy, her heartless owner rejected her and decided to throw her away.
Luckily, fate had other plans for the sweet puppy.
Good humans who found out the man’s decision knew they had to save Emmy, and they quickly jumped in. They opened their hearts to the little puppy and took her home.
That’s when Emmy’s life began to change.
The Puppy Meets Her Forever Dad
Emmy lived with her rescuers until they were unable to take care of her.
Since they wanted the puppy to have a bright future and a lot of love, Emmy’s rescuers found her a great home. They gave her to their friend, Gio.
Gio fell in love with the adorable pup, and he wholeheartedly welcomed her into his life.
When he adopted Emmy, the canine was still a little baby. She could jump, but she was unable to move.
Gio began playing with Emmy and helping her improve her mobility. He took her outside every day and encouraged her to run using her nubs.
Thanks to her dad’s unconditional love and her fighting spirit, the pup made great effort, and she was eventually able to run around.
Emmy and her dad built an incredible bond, and they became inseparable. The pup knew that Gio had always been by her side.
She adores her dad and showers him with love.
“It doesn’t matter what I’m doing. She just wants to be there. She’ll come up to me and start jumping trying to get on me to pick her up. The minute I pick her up, she’ll just start licking my face. I think she gets jealous whenever I’m around another dog.” Gio told Cuddle Buddies.
The Love That All Canines Deserve
For Gio, Emmy is perfect just the way she is, and he considers her his best friend.
He thinks both of them have a lot of love to give.
“I’m the type of guy so I love to love. That’s one of the things that we have in common. She always just wants to be on me, so her like cuddling on me,” Gio added.
Gio is enchanted with Emmy and her loving personality.
“She’s very sweet and loving. I just love her,” he said
Emmy lives her dream life, feeling infinitely adored and cherished.
She and her dad often post photos and videos on Instagram and bring a smile to the faces of their followers.
We couldn’t be happier that Emmy found the immense love that she needed and deserved.
All canines, regardless of their ‘imperfections,’ are perfect and worthy of being treasured. All they need is chance and a lot of love.
