Have you heard of the world’s largest Dachshund?
Her name is Vivian, and she’s way much bigger than you think.
In fact, Vivian is a giant Dachshund, as big as a house… bigger than a tree, and almost as big as Godzilla!
Vivian is a gentle giant. She won’t destroy neighborhoods or knock over trees like dominos.
She’s a big girl… but only in her imagination!
Just as many Dachshunds, Vivian is a typical specimen with the Napoleon complex. If you’re not sure what that means, let me clear things up for you.
When a dog has the Napoleon complex, he or she believes they’re much bigger than they actually are. They think they’re as mighty as their bigger buddies… something like when Napoleon tried to conquer Russia.
But, Vivian is sweet and caring. She has a terrific owner, Mitch Boyer, who helps her a lot with her “complex”. Together, Mitch and Vivian make great photos of her outings in the Big Apple, mostly Brooklyn.

… Mitch could easily use her as a couch!
3. The truth behind Vivian’s size is…
… that she drank a magical grow potion her owner made her.
4. She’s not just a big city girl.
Vivian loves going to the beach, too!
5. But, on most days…
Vivian just likes hanging out with Mitch and exploring the city together.
6. On one occasion…
… she spotted a squirrel, but Mitch said no.
7. But, then she went after it anyway…
… making Mitch fly behind her. Squirrel still got away.
8. So, she got so angry…
… she almost burned down the city.
9. However, Vivian is usually super sweet…
… and always with a smile on her face.
10. She loves people…
… especially her adopted auntie!
11. She loves…
… playing in the water (but she sometimes causes tsunamis).
12. Also, riding the subway…
… when they allow her that!
13. But, even when they don’t let her underground…
… Vivian still sneaks in to watch the trains go by.
14. The only thing Vivian doesn’t like…
… is the rain.
15. But, Mitch always makes her happy…
… by taking her on roadtrips.
16. Okay, she also doesn’t like…
… when someone is bigger than she is.
But, that’s totally fine. There are a lot of things that are bigger than Vivian. She just has to drink a bit more of that special growth potion and make Mitch take more photos.
