Rescuing a doggo from abandonment and inhumane conditions is a good deed, no matter which breed the doggo belongs to, right?
Well, it hurts me to say that not all people think that way. Those who are willing to save the dogs selectively as if they’re picking a pup from a breeder aren’t much better than those who abandon pups in the first place.
Fortunately, a brave woman named Molly, from Massachusetts, didn’t give up on a pup she rescued regardless of the comments she had to deal with.
An Unexpected Rescue
Molly had no idea that her life was going to change completely when she pulled over on an Alabama highway to help a poor stray doggo.
She described the rescue for GeoBeats Animals by saying that, although she was not experienced with approaching untrained dogs, she didn’t even think about the potential dangers.
All Molly could think of was the doggo’s well-being, and the Pittie thanked her for that with lots of kisses.
After the act of braveness, she took the dog to a local animal shelter, but only for a short period of time:
“I looked him in the eye and I was like, ‘I promise you I will get you out of here and I promise I’m gonna keep you safe’.”
New Pup In The House
After more than a month of papers, procedures, and unwanted advice from people who were against rescuing “aggressive dog breeds”, such as Pitbulls, Molly was finally able to bring Polo home to Massachusetts.
The two became inseparable, and Molly just knew she made the right decision as soon as Polo stepped into his new house.

The family got used to Polo quite easily, except for Molly’s dad, who showed a bit more resistance in the beginning, as he wasn’t up for the adoption of the fifth doggo in the house.
However, Polo managed to steal his heart, too, and they soon became best buddies.
Polo, The Instagram Star
Polo is a cute doggo that can brighten up everyone’s day, which is why he’s becoming more and more popular on the Internet.
According to his Instagram account, it seems that Molly and Polo are having the best time together.
Polo is enjoying his life to the fullest by spending time on the beach, playing with his furry pals, and cuddling with his favorite hoomans.
His adorable pictures and videos prove that a book should never be judged by its cover. Just because a doggo belongs to a breed that has a bad rep doesn’t mean it deserves to be left outside to die.
He is a true example that Pitbulls can be great family pets, and that they’re definitely worthy of being saved.
