Wholesome stories are a staple of the animal community, and today I have a really heartwarming one for you.
This time it happens not between a human and a dog, but between two different species, horses and canines to be more precise.
The funniest thing is that it all happens due to hair pattern similarity.
The Dog Who Believes Himself A Horse
Meet Jack Sparrow, the young Dalmatian who really enjoys hanging out with his equine friends, Napoleon and Nevada.
The initial reason was absolutely silly, because, when Jack was a small pup, he saw the horses having the same pattern as he did on his coat and immediately believed that they were his family.
They were inseparable ever since, Jack’s calm temperament more agreeable with Nevada, but he’s a playful little boy too, so he and Napoleon fit together just as well.
The Faces Of The Brand
This oddball family has been an icon for the Human & Horse Hotel in the Netherlands, and the owner, Greetje Hakvoort, couldn’t be happier about it.
They’re a big attraction and showcase exactly what this hotel was made for in the first place, for people and animals alike to find peace, relax, and form new friendships.
They’re a great way to tell others that everyone can get along, regardless of race, species or any other minor details, as long as we can find something that binds us together.
Even though that detail can be an insignificant thing to others, as long as it makes the rest of us smile and get along.
It’s an astonishingly heartwarming tale which put the Human & Horse Hotel on the map, and we hope to see more of the same.
We’ll look forward to hearing more about their story and the story of the Human & Horse motel, and we hope the feeling is mutual. Until next time.
