The bond between dog and human is truly something marvelous, especially when it manifests out of seemingly nowhere for complete strangers.
Such was the case for a dog in Sao Paolo, Brazil where brothers Felipe and Gabriel Fernando went to the local subway to catch a ride.
Felipe caught sight of a poor dog freezing in the cold and he couldn’t help but act as a considerate human being would.
An Act Of Pure Kindness
He’d take his shirt off and tear it up a bit enough so that it could fit around the pooch and provide him with some warmth, putting it on him and petting the little fella.
To no surprise, his tail would immediately start wagging as a way of saying thanks to the kind gentleman.
It was one of those unspoken moments of understanding what needed to be done at the moment.
A flash of kindness that felt instinctual to the young man, so much so that he didn’t care that that was his favorite shirt, as long as the poor pup could warm up a bit.
The brothers couldn’t linger for too long as they had their own train to catch.
A Missing Connection
Once they came back to Sao Paolo, Brazil, they tried looking for the dog in hopes of adopting him. Sadly, they thought of it a bit too late as the dog had already gone somewhere else over the course of the few days that they were away.
Though, one can almost be certain that he was still wearing that shirt and that his nights felt all the warmer for it.
