It is my honor to introduce you to the newest and cutest members of the Taiwanese police K-9 unit! As these six new adorable puppies are getting ready to possibly join the police squad, the internet has obviously fallen in love.
Firstly, I want you to know that becoming a member of a K-9 unit is not a simple task. Dogs who apply for this role go through intense specialized training, and even then, only a few actually become police dogs while others get appointed to government agencies or sometimes even become pets.[1]
Let’s get to know today’s cuties!
Meet The Squad
Meet Fushin, Schumann, Feida, Yige, AJ, and Liang, one-month-old American Labrador pups getting ready to take the doggie oath, and serve and pawtect the country and its people.
New Paws On The Job
These doggos are training to be a part of the Anti-Bomb And Drug Force, and Blood Detection units. That’s some serious business, isn’t it?
Like parents, like pups
These brave pups will be following in the pawsteps of their parents, Yellow and Leader, who are also detection dogs.
They Mean Serious Business
Fighting bad guys and saving the day is in their blood!
The Training Has Begun
The captain of the K-9 unit, Pan Tian-long, stated that the puppies already started their training program. Their trainers put narcotics near their food bowls, so that as they eat, they are getting used to this smell.
Sleep, Eat, Repeat
However, these puppies are still more into sleeping and eating than doing all of those grown-up things.
Everybody Needs A Little Break
“Sometimes, Fushin would fall asleep while eating, and then he would wake up suddenly and carry on eating like nothing happened…”, stated the captain.
Lots Of Hard Work
All of that big-boy work surely makes him tired…
Snacks, Please!
And, hungry…
Smile For The Camera!
But, lucky for him, the only job these pups have to do now is sleep, eat, and look as adorable as ever.
The Law Is In Their Paws
We wish them all the luck in training and advise the crooks to give up now before all of this cuteness gets to them.
