I don’t like to say that viral trends, such as dances, are a dying trend. For me, everything that has to do with music, dance, and fun is always trending.
And, if you’re into having good fun, I know you’ll agree with me, too.
Do you remember the Jerusalema Dance Challenge? It was a hit some two years ago. The dance quickly became so mainstream that even two years later, it’s still popular.
Police forces from all over the States have danced listening to the melodic tunes of the Zulu language.
But, one crew really nailed it. A group of dog handlers and their canine partners did the Jerusalema and it blew the roof off.
Sisters Buttons Jerusalema Video Going Viral
If you’re into watching dance videos on YouTube, you’ve probably stumbled across a channel called Sisters Buttons. They have all kinds of choreographies posted online, including a Jerusalema dance done by a group of police dog handlers and their K9s.
The rhythmic words ‘Master KG’ and ‘Nomcebo’ couldn’t leave anyone’s feet still. Jerusalema was (and still is) quite contagious… even addictive. No wonder the pups joined in, too!
The dance video starts with dog handlers and their pups approaching… all smiling and ready to break the dance floor – in this case, even a field.
Then, the moves start! As the handlers start dancing and exchanging legs, their dogs are standing still next to them, wondering what’s happening.
What happens is that the handlers take over, showing off some smooth moves.
Another team joins in – this time, inside a huge dancing room.
As the song progresses, and the dancing teams exchange places and scenes, something pawmazing happens.
The handlers, one by one, step in the center of attention, but this time, they’re not alone. Each handler dances in with his dog, doing the same thing – dancing the best way they can!
And. They. Have. Moves.
And, they’re super excited to participate in the viral dance challenge!
Some even jumped into their handler’s arms and danced together.
As the song finishes, all the handlers and their dogs come into focus and they celebrate a successful and fun challenge!
I’m sure these pups had a blast filming the Jerusalema. I see many more fun dancing challenges in their future.
Watch K9 Jerusalema and try not to dance yourself!
