The bond between a dog and his two-legged friend can become a truly incredible connection that goes beyond species.
However, when the dog and the human are born on the same exact day and end up growing together, both in size and character, they become inseparable.
That’s exactly what happened between a newborn baby and his bulldog best friend in today’s story.
Unusual Little Friends
Ivette Ivens, a photographer from Chicago, has been gifted not one, but two adorable blessings. After having her son, Dilan, she came across the most adorable French Bulldog, Farley, who was looking for a family of his own.
As soon as Ivette saw that Farley was born on the same day as her son, she took that as a sign and adopted the pup.
When she carefully introduced the baby pup to her baby son, they became best friends instantly.
“He patiently plays with him and tries not to snore while they both nap. It’s honestly the most loving connection – pure, unconditional, irreplaceable and inseparable,” said Ivette.
Debunking The Myth
Some may think that it’s not a clever idea to have a bulldog around a newborn baby; however, the reputation that this breed has couldn’t be further from the truth.
Many believe that Bulldogs are a very intimidating and scary breed, but in reality, they have kind temperaments and are big sweethearts.
They are super friendly to all living things and are willing to play and share their space.
I’m pretty sure Dilan thinks they’re both the same species, as they walk at the same level and are both going through the stage of chewing on everything.
This adorable little friendship continues to shine as both Farley and Dilan grow up. They love doing everything together, from napping to sharing a bath.
As Dilan grows bigger and understands more, he truly appreciates Farley’s company and the love is just blossoming.
I am so thankful that Ivette gifted us with the most adorable photoshoot ever, proving yet again that bulldogs are just big sweethearts who love little company and being babied around.
