Gabriel Bogner, a man traveling from Los Angeles, California, to New York City, couldn’t imagine his flight without his best friend – the female Great Dane, Darwin.
Being a devoted owner whose gigantic canine didn’t meet standard requirements for boarding a plane, he decided to pay for three seats, so his pooch could fit properly on the flight.

Colossal Darwin Needed A Whole Row
Gabriel spared no money to take his doggo girl with him. He literally paid for three seats (including his) so he and his canine could meet the requirements for boarding the plane.
Once they settled in their seats, other passengers were in shock to see a giant Great Dane taking almost the entire row for himself. But, a real shocker came a few moments later – when they realized that Darwin was the greatest behaving girl ever!
She sat calmly throughout the entire flight, and when she got tired of being the sturdiest, most presentable doggo on the plane – she fell asleep on her two comfy seats.
Her owner took a video of her on the plane and it soon went viral, melting the hearts of millions of people all over the world. Darwin soon became a U.S. star, and due to her incredibly gentle demeanor – she became everyone’s sweetheart!

After the flight, everyone greeted Darwin and she even got to meet the pilots! All of the passengers were just thrilled to see this colossal Great Dane sharing a flight to New York City with them, praising her great behavior and the sweetest temperament ever.
Darwin Is A Service Dog
The reason why Darwin was allowed on the plane in the first place is because she’s a service dog. Her owner, Gabriel, suffers from Crohn’s disease and he just needs to have Darwin with him at all times.
She has been trained to make her owner’s life easier, but she’s also a great companion! The two always travel together and spend all their time next to each other.
Besides her exquisite intelligence, Darwin’s just the sweetest, most intuitive dog ever! Even though she appears as an intimidating, horse-like Great Dane, she’s so gentle and caring around everyone.
This is not a surprise at all, as Great Danes are known for their gentle nature and their one-of-a-kind temperament. They help, get along with other doggos, and even help during the fostering process if trained so!
Gabriel And Darwin – The Unbreakable Bond
Despite his condition, Gabriel and his Great Dane girl are still going strong! The duo has never been more attached to each other, and we hope they’ll just continue to rock in the years to come.
Besides being a good city girl, Darwin also loves hiking and taking long walks with Gabriel. She’s basically the pawfect Great Dane, ready to embark on all kinds of adventures – at all times!
