While a man named Zack was getting his car filled up with gas in Arizona, he saw a quite interesting scene.
A dog who grabbed a paper bag ran in front of him and right into the Grand Canyon. Zack tried to approach the dog, offering help, but she wouldn’t let him.
Knowing that he just can’t leave her out there by herself, he decided to follow her.
At The Canyon
Zack went home, grabbed his camper, and came back determined to stay as long as he needed to in order to take this dog with him.
While camping, he met some local Arizona rescues who were also interested in getting this dog somewhere safe. They left treats and traps, but nothing seemed to be working.
“She was just so smart. She knew that the trap that dropped the door was under the carpet,” said Zack.
While on his fourth day there, Zack noticed the dog sprinting down into the canyon after being spooked by a car.
Wanting to know where she was going, he took out his drone and decided to fly it over the canyon.
After a while of flying the drone, Zack managed to spot her fluffy white tail.
The dog, spotting the flying object, decided to follow it back to where Zack was stationed. To his surprise, the dog got inside of the trap, which she avoided for days prior.
When she went into the cage, it was almost as if she thought ‘I can’t do this anymore, I’m just going to take a risk’. She made a choice to trust me.
Finally Safe
On their way home, Zack decided to make a stop at the local vet, so that the dog could get a thorough checkup and all the shots she needed.
Since Zack already had some pets back home, he was quite concerned about whether they would get along or not.
But, Zack had nothing to worry about!
As soon as the dog, now named Haseya, met with his cat, Jack, they instantly clicked. Not only did Haseya take a sort of parental role towards Jack, taking care of him and cleaning him, but they also became best friends.
This morning when I got up they were both watching birds. Her tail was wagging. This was the cutest thing ever.
House Full Of Fun
When it came to his other dog, Marble, Zack took a different approach. Before introducing them, he wanted them to get used to each other’s smell first.
But, as soon as the two met, Zack realized that they did not need any introduction whatsoever.

They ran into the living room straight away, starting a playdate that went on for hours.
Their friendship was pretty immediate and amazing.
From having playdates to competing for cuddles, Marble and Haseya have become an inseparable duo.
Haseya just can’t keep the smile off her face, knowing that she is in a warm home surrounded by people – and pets – who love her very much.
Her tail is always up in the air. That just warms my heart so much. She is just an absolute miracle.
