3-Months-Old German Shepherd Saved From The Woods Just In Time

Admin

It’s not unusual for dogs to get rescued and then adopted in another country, or even a continent. True dog lovers can be found everywhere, and boundaries are non-existent when it comes to love.

This German Shepherd puppy was rescued from a foreign forest, but somehow managed to get a furever home far, far away in Maryland, USA.

This is the story of Zoey – a pup that was lost and on the edge of survival. Thanks to good people, Zoey got what she truly deserved: a loving home and a happy life.

Tear-jerking stories of canine rescue missions have no expiration date. No matter if the rescue happened yesterday, a few months ago, or even a few years ago, it’s still a lovely, heartwarming story that everyone loves to read.

Zoey was found and rescued almost seven years ago.

Thanks to an animal rescue organization called Howl of a Dog, Zoey was found in a forest. The rescuers assumed she was just three months old. The poor girl was shaking and trembling with fear striking from her eyes.

Zoey was lost. She knew that. And, she knew how dangerous that was.

The chances of her survival without hooman help were almost non-existent.

When HOAD found Zoey, she was in terrible condition, completely covered in fleas. The poor girl was too weak and lethargic to move. Laying there all by herself in a foreign forest, Zoey felt like her life was dripping away.

Still, fortune smiled upon her. Zoey was rescued and immediately taken to an animal hospital for treatment.

The good news was that this little GSD girl was, overall, healthy. They gave her a flea bath and she looked like a brand new pup.

It didn’t take long for Zoey to turn from a terrified pooch into a happy-go-lucky doggo. She got the attention of many people trying to adopt her. But, a family from Maryland was the most persistent one to give Zoey her American dream.

“Zoey just loves to play, play, and play. I play a lot of tug-of-war with her and give her lots of old-fashioned belly rubs. She is everything I thought she would be.”

That’s what Zoey’s hooman mom told the HOAD organization.

The puppy that was left to die in the forest was now living her best life, enjoying the American dream, and showing her gratitude every day for being rescued.

Together with her adoptive canine siblings, Roxy and Kona, Zoey is being showered with love and sprinkled with kisses all the time.

Zoey grew up to be a lovely girl, with fluffy ears and a huge smile that looks like it is glued to her face.

Zoey got to live the dream. Other rescue dogs could live it, too, if you only help them.
