Saving a doggo from the street is a wonderfully unique experience, let alone saving a pair of them from a certain accident!
No one exactly knows how these puppies ended up on a busy road in Palmdale, California, but they were spotted peering at the traffic for quite some time, waiting for someone to help them.
The pups were standing on a curb all curled up next to each other. They were just about to set their curious paws on the freeway when a giant-hearted woman rushed over and saved them just seconds before a true disaster!
Waiting On The Curb For Someone To Help Them
As it turned out, this bonded pair of puppies waited for someone to be their hero! When the woman approached them on the curb, they were absolutely submissive and happy to establish contact!
The woman contacted MaeDay Rescue, from Los Angeles, California, who immediately sent their rescuers to the spot.
When they finally arrived, they both happily surrendered themselves and wagged their tails when the rescuers picked them up. It was as if you could just tell that the puppies were relieved to be in the back of their saviors’ car, far away from the traffic.
The puppies were headed down to the rescue’s affiliate groomer, who gave them a bath and made sure they were ready for a foster home.
Learning How To “Dog” Again
Named Murray (later, Oscar) and Kona, the puppies started recovering from their ordeal in beautiful foster homes. After a few days, Oscar displayed his cheerful personality and ultimate eagerness to play – all day long!
He’s a silly boi who just loves to get into anything – with anyone! He’s naturally sociable and loves spending time around people and other dogs.
On the other hand, Kona is slightly calmer and a bit gentler than her goofy brother. She adores snuggling with hoomans just as much as she loves giving kisses to everyone!
Kona And Oscar In A Furever Home
Eventually, both doggos found their furever homes, which was no surprise, as both of them were absolutely charming and lovable right off the bat!
Kona went to a beautiful home with her pawrents and a little sister who’s probably her favorite hooman by now!
“Her new family is obsessed with her and is already surrounding her with so much love,” wrote the MR team.
As for Murray – this goofy boi got just what he wanted this whole time… a big doggo brother who now teaches him all the tricks and manners! You can just tell from his big smile that he absolutely loves his new family!
“We are honored that we got to be part of his journey to a happy ending,” Maeday Rescue wrote on their official Instagram.
Once a bonded pair of scared puppies waiting for a miracle on a busy road, both Kona and Oscar are now happy canines who are more than happy in their comfortable homes!
