Out of all the rescue stories I have read, the ones that are always heartbreaking are when I see small puppies alone and freezing with nobody to help them.
It really doesn’t take much to help these poor babies. A simple phone call to the rescuers and a little attention is all they require to have a fighting chance.
In this story, we will talk about a Good Samaritan who saw a small box near a road and realized there were puppies inside.
Two Beautiful Puppies
During a cold day, the rescue organization, Love Furry Friends, received a phone call from a man who said that he found a box with two small puppies inside.
The kind man said that he couldn’t keep them, but he felt bad and didn’t know what to do, so he called them. And, it was the right thing to do.
The rescuers were quick to accept this task, and were on their way to help the poor little babies in no time.
After he stood with them for an hour, the rescuers came and saw the sweet puppies. They were starving and in need of medical attention.
They took them to the car, where they fed them. It was pretty obvious just how hungry they were by how fast they ate their food.
After a trip to the vet, he established that they were only three weeks old and needed warm milk every few hours.
One of them was a girl, named Gerda, and the other one was a male, named Totoshka.

Just one week later and they were already making huge progress. They were no longer so afraid, and were starting to become a lot more outgoing.
They love playing with each other and exploring their surroundings. The rescuers made sure to give them some nice toys to play with.
One of the workers introduced them to the other rescue dogs and the duo fit in really well with them, even though they were still very small.
They were growing up pretty fast, and it was amazing to see just how much they had progressed in such a short time.
While we don’t have a lot of information about the status of these puppies, I think it’s safe to assume that they have grown up by now and found wonderful families.
A story like this should always remind us just how important it is to never ignore a puppy or a dog in need. A simple phone call to the right person can be life changing for them.
