Like any job, working in a shipping boat can get dull. However, the other day, workers noticed something not only unusual but also heartbreaking.
A little pup was clinging onto a fence in the port, trying to keep his tired body out of the cold water.
As soon as the workers noticed this, they feared that contacting the professionals would take too much time so they decided to take matters into their own hands.
After crafting a foolproof plan, the workers went to action!
Help Is On The Way
One worker decided to jump into the deep water with a cylinder attached to a rope and swim to the pup. The cylinder would be the perfect thing for the pup to climb onto until the man finally brought him to safety.
However, when the man approached him, he noticed that something was wrong. Not only was the pup extremely hungry but he was also injured.
After taking some time to reassure him that everything was going to be okay, the worker carefully placed the pup on the cylinder and took him to a nearby boat.
At one moment, the pup lost his balance and fell off of the cylinder. Luckily, the hooman was so determined to save him that he immediately grabbed him and continued swimming with the pup in his arms.
The hardest part of this rescue mission was for the hooman to climb onto the boat with the pup.
The worker tried many different ways, but he just couldn’t climb up the rope ladder until something incredible happened.
Teamwork Is The Dream Work
The rescuer held on to the rope ladder with the pup on his shoulder, trying to figure out what to do. But then, all of a sudden, he noticed one of his coworkers coming down the ladder to offer them a helping hand.
Placing a rope around the dog’s body, the other crew members were able to pull him up onboard, allowing his rescuers to climb up on their own.
The workers greeted the pup with open arms, giving him many hugs and kisses. And, since they knew he was starving, they shared with him some of their lunch.
Agreeing to take care of the pup until they got to the shore, the workers were more than happy to offer this brave pup a temporary job as the crew’s sweetest boy ever!

Stray animals can get themselves into sticky situations as they try to survive this big, scary world.
