Just like all pups, Daisy needed a family who would love her to the moon and back.
Sadly, cold-hearted people who kept her in a puppy mill in Iowa denied her the right to experience love and to live a happy life.
They used the doggo for making a profit without feeling any empathy toward her.
Daisy lived in terrible conditions, enduring mistreatment and longing for freedom.
The traumatized pup couldn’t imagine that she would soon discover love that would change her life forever.
Daisy Gets A Second Chance
Fortunately, rescuers found Daisy along with another two-hundred dogs who lived in the same Iowa puppy mill. The good humans felt brokenhearted when they saw the dogs for the first time.
They were in a pretty bad state, malnourished and fearful.
A wonderful woman named Amira learned about Daisy’s background and decided to give her a loving forever home.
When Daisy moved in with her, her heart was filled with overwhelming fear. The pooch kept expecting that something bad would happen to her.
“She was hyper aware of everything going on around her… She was so scared,” Amira told The Dodo.
The canine didn’t know how to relax. Daisy kept falling asleep while standing because she never had a room to lie down in and sleep.
Amira lavished Daisy with attention. She petted the pooch and doted on her, trying to let her know that she was safe and loved.
Daisy needed time to get used to her new life and to learn how to be a dog.
The doggo’s mom kept giving her a lot of love and showering her with positive words and encouragement.
Amira gave Daisy the freedom of choice, which she didn’t have in her previous life. The kind-hearted woman wanted the pup to relax, so she let her do whatever she wanted.
Attaining Happiness
Owing to the infinite affection Daisy received, the fear from her eyes started vanishing.
When her mom noticed that the pup began tearing up paper towels, she knew that Daisy felt comfortable and secure in her home. She finally started playing and behaving like a dog.
Gradually, the pup’s fur began changing and beautiful curly locks started growing.
After some time had passed, Daisy made a remarkable transformation and turned into the most gorgeous and fluffiest girl.
Her face reflected her happiness. The canine couldn’t stop smiling.
Amira and Daisy adore each other. The pup made her mom believe in love, and she considers her a true inspiration.
“I look at Daisy, and I’m like, ‘I can survive anything because she survived it.’ And I know love is real because of Daisy. I know love exists because she exists,” Amira added.
I’m very happy that the canine overcame her trauma and that she enjoys a new life filled with the love that she always deserved.
