When times are tough, all you need is a friend.
This saying holds true even in the canine world, and the following story is Exhibit A!
Recently, a home camera captured a truly heartwarming moment between two family dogs.
A teeny-tiny Pomeranian was just casually walking by a fish pond, just like any other day. This time, however, he got way too close out of curiosity while observing the fish. His paw accidentally slipped, and he ended up falling in.
Desperate and unable to get out, the little pup was trapped in the water until his furry bud arrived. What his companion did for him just a few moments later left the entire internet in awe!
He Couldn’t Find A Way Out
What started as a casual, ordinary day in his family home quickly turned into a real mishap. The little Pomeranian fell into the water and was so confused that he immediately tried to swim his way out.
All the fish in the pond only made him even more nervous, and he tried his best to escape this ordeal.
In the next moment, the camera captured the pup swimming alongside dozens of fish, struggling to stay afloat while avoiding contact. To make things even scarier, the pup, wet and tiny, appeared to be the same size (or even smaller) than the fish.
He swam across the entire pond within just a few minutes, but once he reached the edge, real panic set in. Realizing that the edge was just too steep to climb, the pup paddled frantically, unsure of what to do next.
Then, the most heartwarming thing happened!
Friend To The Rescue
Hearing strange paddling sounds in the backyard, another pup rushed to the scene. He quickly scanned the area and spotted his furry friend in the pond!
Immediately changing his demeanor, he tried to reach him from the edge. The pup made a few circles around the pond, searching for the best spot to help, but soon gave up.
Realizing he couldn’t help his buddy alone, he immediately ran away.
For a moment, it looked like the pup had abandoned his friend in need. Then, another heartwarming event unfolded!
Instead of running away, the dog actually called their owner, alerting him about the unfortunate situation taking place in the pond.
Seeing the dog in a panic, the owner immediately rushed out of the house only to be shocked by what he found in the pond.
He hurried to the pond’s edge, where his tiny Pomeranian barely kept his head above water, and scooped him up.
The little pup was evidently scared but relieved his hooman showed up. He timely escaped what could have turned out to be a real tragedy. However, the real hero of the day was his furry sibling who saved the day!
The two continued to have the best time together, proving once again that dogs are amazing friends, not just to humans, but to their canine buddies, too!
