For the last three years, Ally enjoyed her life like a true princess. With her other two doggo siblings, Frank and Jim, she had everything she could ever ask for and more.
Then, one day, everything turned upside down.
In the blink of an eye, she found herself in a shelter, surrounded by unknown dogs and triggered by loud noises. What was once her cozy, peaceful home was now an environment full of uncertainty and fear.
She Was Devastated
This eight-year-old Greyhound girl spent wonderful years with her family. Her hoomans and two other Greyhound brothers, Jim and Frank, were everything she ever knew and loved.
That was until her owners were blessed with a baby, and things suddenly changed.
Soon, the family realized that the dogs couldn’t cope with this new change, and all three of them ended up in Clarks Farm Greyhound Rehoming Centre, losing everything they ever had.
This change was extremely difficult for Ally, who immediately shut down and became really depressed.
“She’s been through so much, returned after three years when a newborn changed her world, leaving her and her siblings struggling. Ally’s spirit is broken, and she needs someone to be her light, to mend her heart and offer her the happiness she deserves,” the rescue wrote in a TikTok post.
Due to a complicated leg injury that required surgery and a long-time healing process, her brother, Frank, had to be removed from the group, making things for Ally even worse.
Jim and his sister were left all alone in this world, far away from anything that even remotely reminded them of their previous home. Stuck in small kennels, this bonded duo prayed for a sudden change, but no one seemed to be interested in adopting them.
Still Waiting For Someone Special
Despite many pleas the rescue posted on their social media, Ally and Jim still haven’t found their forever home. These black doggos are being constantly overlooked and passed on, mostly due to their coat color.
“These two amazing dogs are still waiting for their forever home, and it’s been a tough journey for them. We’ve put our special appeals, but luck hasn’t been on their side yet,” the rescue wrote.
The rescue staff couldn’t be more heartbroken. According to them, both dogs are true sweethearts once they get the opportunity to exhibit their true colors.
Ally and Jim would love it if their new family had room to fit both of them together, as they really don’t know life without each other. They prefer a low-key, calm environment with adult humans and no other pets.
“These precious pups prefer a more relaxed and chilled-out lifestyle. They’re super easy-going and would thrive in a calm environment,” they added.
For now, the two will still be waiting for the right chance. Hopefully, when the time comes, both Ally and Jim will find the homes that will provide them with what they have lost in the past. And so much more!
Good luck, sweethearts!
