Rescuer Wasn’t Able To Save This Stray Pup, But Then Her Friend Stepped In To Save The Day

With so many stray animals running around the streets, rescuers really have their work cut out for them.

As soon as they rescue one scared pup and bring it to the shelter, they receive information about another one who desperately needs their help.

Suzette Hall, founder of a rescue organization based in Irvine, California, named Logan’s Legacy, knows this struggle way too much. Luckily, she has many incredible friends who are more than happy to step in and help out when she needs it.

What Are Friends For

After receiving tons of calls and texts about a little pup who was hanging out on a busy street for over a week, Hall knew she had to do something.

“For a week, the food truck would feed her. No houses around and right on a busy street and not exactly the best part of town,” Hall wrote in a Facebook post.

Unfortunately, things weren’t so simple. Not only did she have her hands full with other rescues, but the little girl was located too far away. No matter how hard she tried to make the time to go to her, Hall wasn’t able to do so.

Luckily, a friend of hers named Ariana decided to help out and take up the case herself.

After gathering her supplies, which included some yummy food, a leash, and a lot of patience, Ariana headed down to the location determined to help this sweet girl out.

Not wanting to sit this one out, Hall called Ariana on her phone and walked her through the entire rescue as it was not an easy one. Because they were on a busy street, Ariana had to be super careful not to scare the pup as she could end up running onto the road.

Rescue Mission

The rescuer began speaking to her in a calm and soft voice, reassuring her that she was there to help. She also gave her some delicious treats which the pup ate in the blink of an eye.

This helped the pup feel more relaxed around Ariana, allowing her to slip the leash around her neck and bring her to her car.

A huge weight was lifted for both Hall and Ariana as they knew that this sweet pup was finally safe.

“And this little girl didn’t have to wait for the food truck anymore. She was rescued. Arian sent me a message and said ‘She knows she is safe, she is asleep and SNORING’. That’s my absolute favorite part of the rescue,” Hall wrote.

Naming the pup Magnolia, she was taken to the vet, where she received a thorough examination.

Magnolia is able to begin a life fit for a sweet doggo – a life full of fun games, happy memories, and yummy food!

None of this would have been possible without her incredible rescuers.

This story serves as a powerful reminder that even our greatest rescuers sometimes need a helping hand. Therefore, let us give it to them whenever we can!
