Imagine walking into the doctor’s office, bank, or shop and being greeted not only by the workers but also by a wagging tail and a furry face.
Luckily for us, more workspaces are embracing the trend of allowing dogs in the office, and if you ask me, it makes total sense!
Having a furry friend in the workspace brings a sense of joy, comfort, and stress relief that can’t be matched even by the best cup of coffee in the world.
And, one hooman experienced just that.
Best Outcome Ever
Franco P. DiMarc prefers to walk to work every day. But, while he was running late one morning, he realized that he had no other option but to call an Uber.
Little did he know, this was going to be the best decision he had ever made.
As the Uber pulled up, DiMarc went around the passenger door when he noticed a big, yellow, fluffy ball sitting inside.
“Meet Hank, the assistant Uber driver/navigator,” wrote DiMarc in a Facebook post.
The most adorable Golden Retriever decided to accompany his mom’s dad to his job for the day. And, you had best believe that he made sure that all the attention was on him.
After wiggling his way into the center console, Hank gave DiMarc the perfect opportunity to give him plenty of hugs and kisses while he reached his destination.
“His grandpa (the driver) said he was a loan shark from his daughter. He was very wiggly and soft and gave kisses and demanded butt scratches. He seemed a little sleepy, though,” he added.
I mean, I don’t know about you, but if there were an adorable furry co-driver in my Uber, I would have booked the longest drive possible!
Dogs In The Workplace
Countless studies have shown that dogs are able to reduce stress and foster social connection among hoomans, especially those who share an office or a job.
