Neighbors In Shock When They Saw A Huge, Furry Visitor Sunbathing On A Porch

I believe that we are extremely lucky to be sharing our planet with something so adorable as animals.

Not only do they take care of our earth, keeping it clean and healthy, but they also make it a much better place to live in.

I mean, think about it… they are extremely adorable and a lot of them love hanging out around kind-hearted hoomans. That is why, when they get lonely, they sometimes end up leaving their natural habitats and wandering into the hooman world.

Well, at least somebody did.

A Quite Unusual Guest

As the sun was shining on stunning Lone Tree, Colorado, one unusual visitor decided to have a little stroll across town.

He passed by all the stores and houses, looking out for the perfect spot to soak up some of that warm sun. When he came across a family home with a spacious porch, he decided that that was the place!

While he was making himself comfortable, the Lone Tree residents noticed him and decided it would be for the best to inform the local authorities.

Now, you may be wondering why they would be calling them. Well, it was because the visitor was a bear.

Rescue Mission

As reported by Fox 31, the bear even decided to go do some shopping at the local mall. However, feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the loud noises of suburbia, he decided to climb up a tree in order to decompress.

Unfortunately, he ended up being stuck.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) immediately rushed to the location, and when they arrived, the scene was pretty intense. Since there was a lot of people looking at him and there were so many loud noises, the bear grew extremely nervous.

CPW decided to call South Metro Fire Rescue (SMFR) and the Lone Tree Police Department for some reinforcements. And, once everybody gathered around, it was go time.

“SMFR Tower 34 crew provided assistance in enabling the CPW ranger to approach the bear and administer a tranquilizer safely from the bucket of Tower 34,” SMFR wrote on Facebook.

One group of hoomans approached the top of the tree in the truck’s buckets while the other kept a safety net underneath, waiting to catch the bear.

Luckily, they were able to tranquilize the bear in the first go, making him safely drop into the net.

The bear was then transported to the CPW headquarters, where he was given a medical exam and a tag.

All that was left to do was wait for the bear to regain his strength so that he could be released back into the wild. And, that’s exactly what happened! This curious little guy was finally back where he belonged.

“This successful operation serves as a testament to the commitment and expertise of South Metro Fire Rescue, Colorado Parks and Wildlife, and the Lone Tree Police Department in safeguarding both wildlife and public safety,” SMFR wrote.

The authorities took this opportunity to remind everybody how to act in case they come across another furry wanderer.

“[A] reminder to the public to maintain a safe distance in the presence of bears or any wildlife in their vicinity. By respecting these animals and their habitats, individuals can help prevent such incidents and promote harmonious coexistence with wildlife,” SMFR concluded.
