Anyone who has ever owned a dog knows one thing that is universal about all dogs: They hate going to the vet.
Even if it’s a simple and routine procedure, they just don’t care and will probably make you feel guilty for the entire day when you take them.
On a rare occasion, there is a chance that they will accept the fact if you ease them into it and help out in a clever way.
Emily has a dog named Walsh and he is no different than other dogs when he has to go to the vet. Let’s find out why.
An Interesting Twist
If there is one thing in his life that Walsh hates, it’s getting his ear medication. Emily notes that he hates doing it, but will always accept the treatment.
On one occasion, she decided to take her dog to the clinic in Tennessee to receive the medication. Naturally, this went about as well as you would expect.
Luckily for him, Emily brought him his favorite emotional support toy. So now, every time he goes to the vet, he can take his french-fries toy. It makes the medication go down easier.
During their stay at the clinic, Walsh would not put down his toy. He looked a bit scared and uncomfortable at first, but then something changed.
He was starting to relax, and his owner noticed that he put down his toy, so they thought of a funny idea.
They bribed Walsh with some peanut butter, and he put on a white coat. He was now posing as the newest ‘dogtor’ in the clinic, and he sure had something to say about his treatment.

I mean, how can it not be worth everyone’s time? Seeing sweet dogs in funny situations will never get old.

Naturally, I would be inclined to hear a professional veterinarian’s opinion, but he looks so adorable in the white coat, so I would listen to everything he has to say.
