Every dog owner knows that their four-legged friend is far more than just a pet… they are part of the family.
In fact, they become such an important part of our lives that just imagining a day spent without our fur babies tugs at our hearts. Thankfully, those days are rare.
But when they do roll around, for whatever reason, the joy of reuniting is so much more precious, serving as a reminder of just how much they mean to us. And, Suzie knows all about this!
A Pawsome Reunion
Suzie, a proud parent of an adorable Labrador Retriever named Luna, tends to work late. And, since she doesn’t want her fur baby to stay all alone in their home, she takes her over to her parent’s house.
Luna loves being babysat by her grandparents. Not only do they shower her with never-ending love and attention, but they also have one pawsome house. There is a huge backyard with a lake butting up against it where Luna can run around freely as much as her heart desires.
But no matter how cool it is, nothing compares to some quality time spent with her mama.
One time, Luna had to stay over at her grandparents’ house for a bit longer. Even though she was a good girl who didn’t complain, two days without seeing her mom really made Luna miss her.
However, when they were finally reunited, Luna was over the moon!
While she was playing in the backyard with her ball, Suzie came to pick her up. As she called for Luna from the deck, this sweet girl had to take a moment to figure out what was really happening. Her mom was finally here!
Even though Luna had a stunning backyard all to herself, she immediately gave it up for her sweet mom. If that isn’t a testimony to her love, I don’t know what is!
The Internet Loved It
Since Suzie posted this adorable reunion to her TikTok page, it quickly became viral, winning over the entire internet.
“You know she loves you because she’s willing to leave that beautiful yard. You’re a lucky doggy mommy,” wrote one user.
Another pointed out what all of us knew Luna would say if she could speak: “Ma!! I have been waiting!!”
