While walking home from a fishing day, a man spotted a little brown ball lying in the middle of the road. As he got closer, he noticed that it was actually a motionless newborn puppy.
The man quickly got down on his knees and started checking on the pup, fearing that he was too late.
But as soon as he saw that his lungs were moving up and down, he carefully picked him up, cleaned off the dirt from his little body, and quickly ran to the store to get him some food.
Make Do With What You Have
Fearing that he wouldn’t have time to take him to the vet, the hooman thought of a very clever way to feed this exhausted baby.
After getting some milk, he used a tissue to absorb it and place it in the pup’s mouth so that he could suck out the milk. When the puppy’s belly was nice and full, the puppy regained some strength, allowing the hooman to finally take him home.
Stopping at the store on the way home so that he could purchase some supplies, the rescuer was finally able to take care of the pup the way he deserved.
Since the pup was just a couple of days old, his body needed nutrients, which meant that he had to be fed constantly.
So, the determined hooman set an alarm on his phone every two hours, reminding him that it was lunchtime!
Luckily, the pup had a very big appetite, so he drank every single drop of milk that the hooman gave him.
Because of this and the loving environment he was in, the puppy grew each day into a strong, beautiful boy.
After two weeks, this sweet baby was standing on his feet, wagging his tail like the happy pup that he was.
A Big, Strong Boy
The hooman also spent time with the pup, playing and just having fun. The puppy loved this!
Whenever his hero sat down to have a playdate with him, the pup was overjoyed. He would run around the room, jumping and barking!
Every time he sees him so active, the hooman can hardly contain his excitement. And whenever he remembers that somebody left him by the side of the road to fend for himself, the rescuer can barely hold back his tears.
But he quickly dismisses those thoughts because they no longer matter. The important thing is that the pup is now safe and healthy, surrounded by hoomans who make sure that he has everything he needs to grow into a big, happy pup.
Take Care Of Our Animals
It makes me so happy to see an animal that was once on the edge of giving up grow into a full-of-life being.
And none of this would be possible if it wasn’t for our loving animal rescuers!
