When a loving animal rescuer received a call regarding a small puppy who was seen on a busy road, an enormous amount of fear took over his body.
Getting into his car and driving to the location, the rescuer prayed that he wasn’t too late.
When he arrived at the road where the pup was last seen, the rescuer was unable to locate him. Unwilling to give up, he spent the next two days looking around the spot, hoping that the pup would return.
The rescuer started losing hope until he received another call.
Puppy, Where Are You?
The caller stated that he spotted a stray puppy roaming around an abandoned house, and when the rescuer asked for the pup’s description, he thought it sounded oddly familiar.
Making his way down to the location, the rescuer couldn’t stop thinking that this seemed to be the exact same pup that he had been looking for for two days now.
After investigating the location for a bit, he found no sign of a pup.
Thinking that the pup probably ran away again, and remembering that a snowstorm was approaching the town, the man was absolutely heartbroken. Getting into his car empty-handed was one of the hardest things he ever had to do.
But, as he was driving away, the rescuer heard some faint cries coming from an abandoned garage.
He immediately stopped the car and ran to the garage where he found the puppy completely terrified, and she was trying to run away from him.
Luckily, he managed to corner the pup and finally catch her.
Safe At Last
As he was trying to settle her in his car, the terrified pup tried her best to hide from the hooman, as she was unable to figure out what his intentions were.
But, after he made her a comfortable bed and gave her a yummy meal, the pup relaxed a bit.
Finally, it was time to go home!
Because she was outside for so long, digging through trash all day, the puppy was in desperate need for a bath.
After the warm, bubbly bath, the rescuer gave this sweet girl a little spa day, making sure that she was clean and beautiful.
Now that she was looking like a million bucks, it was time to show her off to the world and take her to the vet for a checkup.
The vet visit went by smoothly, and the pup was free to go home, but not before a visit to the pet store for some treats. She deserved them.
Looking For A Home
This sweet girl will stay with her rescuer for the time being, as she is very skittish and has some trouble trusting hoomans.
However, he suspects that it won’t take her too long to break out of her shell, so he is already accepting applications for her adoption.
