While driving on a busy road, a team of rescuers noticed a wet, white clump trembling by the edge.
Stopping the car, they realized that it was actually a pup, and she was hurt!
Her thin, shivering body was covered in opened wounds, causing the poor girl a lot of pain. The rescuers immediately grabbed her, took her into their car, and rushed her to the nearest vet.
Even though she wasn’t sure what was going on, the pup trusted the hoomans, and it was as if she knew that they were going to change her life for the better.
Finally Safe
When they finally got to the vet, the puppy was immediately taken to the emergency room, where she received a thorough checkup.
While the doctors were doing some tests and cleaning her body, her rescuers ran to the pet store and got the brave pup some adorable gifts and yummy food.
So, as soon as she was done, the hoomans had prepared the most delicious bowl of food, which the pup ate in a second!
Unfortunately, such a treat didn’t help her gain the trust of the rescuers, so she kept to herself, retreating to a corner of the kennel and trying to hide from the world.
In the meantime, her results came back stating that she had a severe injury to her head, probably caused by a car, which ended up causing a hematoma. Luckily, her skull was not broken, and her brain did not sustain any injuries.
But since she was a strong and determined pup, it only took her one week to show signs of improvement.
The hematoma is gradually going away, her wounds are healing, and she started to warm up to her rescuers.
She started spending more and more time with them, showering them with love and adoration.
New Life
After a month, the pup made a full recovery.
The hematoma was gone completely, she gained a lot of healthy weight, and she was ready to start her new life.
Since the doctor said it was finally safe for her to leave, the rescuer decided to take her to their home and make her as comfortable as ever.
Even though it took her some time to get used to her new environment, she was thriving!
Seeing her so happy in her new home, the rescuer was unable to part ways with her, so they chose to adopt her.
The puppy who was once fighting for her life by the side of a busy road is now living the life of every pup’s dreams, spending her days in never-ending playdates, fun adventures, and cozy naps.
